Mi objetivo es destilar este caos destacando estos eventos en la pintura durante un tiempo en que los medios (visuales y verbales) tienden a negar la actualidad o la seriedad de estos eventos. Las raíces sistemáticamente racistas e inequitativas de estos eventos se hacen evidentes cuando creo estas pinturas claramente desde mi perspectiva como afroamericano. Dentro de este portafolio, estoy destacando nuestra realidad contemporánea interconectada con estos eventos significativos. En el canon occidental, los afroamericanos a menudo tenemos que lidiar con la adversidad como resultado de nuestro desplazamiento. En “Doll Time” pretendo resaltar la brutalidad policial con esta perversa intrusión del espacio y la injusticia hacia los vulnerables. Esto es para mostrar la naturaleza duradera y la intensidad de nuestro desplazamiento y alteridad.

International Shipping: International shipping is available to certain locations and is limited to standard artwork sizes only. During the checkout screen, you will be informed if shipping is available to your location. Shipping and handling times will vary by location. Please allow 10 to 25 days shipping time for your international package, production times can be found above in the respective "For Prints" or "For Originals" section. International orders may also be subject to additional duties and taxes. Please be aware that these fees are not included in the prices listed on my website, nor am I responsible for covering them. International shipping is a flat $50 USD for all products, but becomes free with a minimum spend of $200 USD.
Returns: If you aren't entirely satisfied with any of my art products, you have 7 business days from receipt of the artwork to notify me of the return. After notification, you have 14 days to ship it back. Unfortunately, if the art hasn't been notified and shipped within this window I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Damaged Packages: I am happy to replace, refund, or fix (if applicable) damaged art products at no cost to you. Please reach out within 21 days of delivery for any of these options. Unfortunately, if I haven't been notified within this window I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges. Lost Packages: If you never received your products, you have 60 days from the day you placed your order to notify me. All packages are sent with a tracking number. Tracking information is sent to the email account that you provided to us upon checkout. If your tracking information indicates that your package was delivered but you never received it, please contact me at amurisart@gmail.com and I can help contact local postal carriers or customs office (for international packages).
